The Largo occupies five historic buildings dating from the 15th to 19th centuries on Largo de São Domingos, in the heart of Porto's old town. Danish studio Space Copenhagen led the renovation, and the result feels less like a typical hotel and more like a series of considered apartments: moody pink and green tones, dark wood, brass, and stone, with sculptural wooden headboards echoing the dramatic original ceilings above them. Hand-thrown ceramics, bespoke woodwork, and curated local art thread Portuguese craftsmanship through every room.
With just 18 rooms, suites, and penthouses, the hotel keeps things intimate, favoring quiet, considered design over scale.
